A small group gathered as we were playing some old blues songs around a campfire in Door County when someone said, “our own personal blues festival” — one of those impromptu moments where everyone was just having fun!
A Tribute to the Blues: Stella and Me is a fun series that allows me to share my passion for guitars, music and photography. The series features an American-made Stella/Harmony guitar (circa 1960s) – an inexpensive yet excellent guitar born for the blues! Many early blues musicians played guitars like this since they could not afford an expensive model, e.g. Gibson, etc.
